Not working but then... Sitting.

So, I love my new job at the hospital as a PCT (patient care tech). I love the patient care and the things I learn from being at the hospital. Today I was excited to learn that I was put on stand by because the

census  was low at the hospital. Then at 9:30pm I got a call that I would be a sitter for the night. Ugg. Sitting seems like it would be an easy job, but it's so easy you are struggling not to go to sleep the whole time. It's usually because of a alcohol withdrawal patient that is having detox symptoms. They just have to be watched because of the impulsiveness to pull out IV's and urinary catheters. So I'm here stirring in the middle of the night. I can't be mad because I'm being paid to blog, but it's hard to. Stay. Awake. 

Riley's 18th Birthday!

So nick texted me and says, "you should do something special for Riley for her birthday when she flys down for Hannah's wedding! Last year Riley says nothing special happened" SO I was determined to make sure I did something special for Riley this year! I planned a surprise party with all her friends at little Anthony! She was so surprised and we had so so so much fun!!! I love you Riley!!

P.s. they kissed her like 6 times. They said it was camera issues but I know the guys weren't complaining!

Mister E flowers!

So a few days before valentines day we get a package at the door. Erin was taking a nap and I came out of my study cave to see who was at the door. When I saw the package I thought for sure that Erin had ordered something, BUT then I see my name on it. To Patricia Cluff.

The most beautiful flowers I've ever received! They came with a glass vase and a card that said "From: Mr. E To: Mis Patricia. Erin an I thought is was first someone with a name starting with an "E" but then we realized its "mystery" and it could be anyone!!

I still do not know who sent me the flowers but they were sweet and lovely and whoever did deserves a great big hug!

80's dance!

Our last institute dance was themed as an 80's dance! I really don't get into dressing up for them much, but this time my friend Jacy invites me to come and dress up with her! We had oodles and oodles of fun!! These are the memories I'll treasure forever!

So much snow!!

Today school was cancelled and the snow came down by thousands of handfuls at once. I was at the hospital for most of the day, but getting home was a chore! I slid and swerved all over the roads and then couldn't make it into my driveway. I tried and tried but couldn't. Finally had to park in the middle of the road and shovel the driveway. But get this, even with all my shoveling I still had to get Erin to come drive while I pushed the car up out of the snow. It was crazy!!! Keep your fingers crossed that we can still make it to the temple tomorrow!!

Snowboarding!!!

CJ and I went snowboarding over valentines day weekend! So hard, but by the end Of the the day I could stand up through the whole thing without falling once!
